Lylia excels in prolonged battles, and works well with heroes with strong CC, like Franco and Minotaur.
Since most of Lylia's damage comes from detonating her 2nd Skill, but setting up Gloom can be quite slow, nimble Assassins like Nolan and Ling counter Lylia as she'll have a tough time hitting them.

Lylia gets power from Gloom, increasing her Movement Speed by 15%. Each Gloom upgrade further increases this bonus by 5%. Gloom gains an upgrade every time he devours Shadow Energy, up to 5 times. Gloom upgrade increases the detonation damage of Shadow Energy.
Lylia sends out Gloom with a shockwave, dealing 250 (+100% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to enemies in a line and slowing them by 30% for 1.5s. If Gloom touches Shadow Energy, he will devour and detonate it.
Lylia condenses Shadow Energy at the target location, dealing 90 (+50% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to enemies hit and slowing them by 80%. Shadow Energy can be detonated by Gloom's devour, dealing 220 (+115% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to the enemies nearby. Each Gloom upgrade increases the detonation damage by 20%, up to 80%. Gloom will restore 20% of Shadow Energy's Recharge Time when it hits an enemy hero. Lylia starts with the Shadow Energy skill, storing one charge every 6s.
Lylia returns to the Black Shoes' location 4s ago and restores her HP and Mana to the previous state, and an extra 10% Max HP. She also gains 20% extra Movement Speed for 2s.

Use Lylia's 2nd Skill to hit the opponent, then use her 1st Skill to detonate the Shadow Energy for a significant burst of damage. Continue to throw her 2nd Skill at the enemy and detonate it with Gloom.

Use Lylia's 2nd Skill multiple times to cover a large area with Shadow Energy, then detonate a chain reaction with her 1st Skill. Continue to spam Lylia's 2nd Skill and detonate with Gloom to quickly set off multiple explosions at once. When in danger, use Lylia's Ultimate to return to safety and recover.
